SEBI CIRCULAR DATED_09.08.2019 FOR AIF INCORPORATED IN IFSC FOR INVESTMENTS

S ummary of Circular dated August 09, 2019 For AIF incorporated In IFSC for investments SEBI has decided to harmonize the provisions governing investments by AIFs wide circular dated August 9,2019 for AIF incorporated in IFSC with those provisions regarding investments applicable to domestic AIFs. Accordingly, AIFs incorporated in IFSC shall be permitted to make investments as per the provisions of the SEBI (Alternative Investment Fund) Regulations, 2012, and the guidelines and circulars issued thereunder, including the operating guidelines for AIFs in IFSC 2. All other conditions specified in the aforesaid SEBI circular dated May 23, 2017, remain unchanged. SEBI CIRCULAR DATED_02.08.2019 on SCORES REGISTRATION

SEBI dated August 02, 2019 ·          Applicability Ø   All Intermediaries registered with SEBI (except Stock Brokers and Depository Participants) Ø   All recognized Stock Exchanges Ø    All recognized Commodity Exchanges All Depositories Ø   All Mutual Funds Ø   All Alternate Investment Funds Any existing or new listed company or SEBI registered intermediary, not having SCORES user id and password were also required to obtain the same. They have to send their details as per Form-A and Form-B respectively to SEBI in hard copy and by email to scores@sebi.gov.in  in order to obtain SCORES user id. THE BANNING OF UNREGULATED DEPOSIT SCHEMES ACT, 2019             Dear All, Ministry of Law and Justice has notified the Banning of Unregulated Deposit Schemes Act, 2019. It also seeks to amend three laws, i.e., the Reserve Bank of India Act, 1934, the Securities and Exchange Board of India Act, 1992 and the Multi-State Co-operative Societies Act, 2002. Main aim of the act is to ban on the unregulated deposits, illegal Ponzi schemes and Chit funds.
